Didsbury Engineering wire rope hoists are designed for safe materials handling and man-riding operations. They are lightweight, portable and easy to use with Didsbury Engineering Tripod and Davit Systems or suspended from any suitable overhead fixture.

The enclosed and open drum models are available to accommodate height of lift up to 37 metres. Manually operated in standard form, Didsbury Engineering hoists can also be converted to air power drive by a snap on attachment.

LL/RTZ 1.2m Minilift Hoist

Didsbury Minilift wire rope hoists are designed for safe goods handling and man-riding operations. The enclosed drum hoist is supplied with an extension tube and top sheath for overhead eyebolt mountings on tripods and davits or with spigot mounting where headroom is restricted.

DECO 2000 MK3 Hoist

Didsbury DECO 2000 hoist is a compact lightweight lifting system for man-riding and precision handling operations. Available in two cable lengths 19m or 37m incorporating a controlled multi-layering drum action. Extension incorporates hook for attachment to tripods, davits or other mounting arrangements.

Open Drum Lightweight Rescue Hoist

The Didsbury Minilift Open-Drum wire rope hoist is designed for safe goods handling and man-riding operations. This hoist can be used with the Didsbury Davit System or Lightweight Aluminium Tripod for confined space entry down to 45 meters.

Air Drive Assembly

For use with Didsbury Engineering, hoist with small and large drive dogs. The air drive assembly interfaces with the drive dog on the hoist and is only used to lift a load.

The air drive is a pneumatic device that aids the operator when lifting loads using one of Didsbury Engineering’s range of hoists. A trigger lever enables the operator to control the speed of rotation
A compressed air supply with a compress air with a dew point between +2°C and +10°C and a working pressure of 6.3-7bar. The air supply must be filtered, regulated and lubricated
The air drive includes a precise clutch that shuts off the air drive at a specified torque
Different hoist series have different gear ratios so the clutch setting is only valid for one hoist series
